Mengevaluasi Pemilihan Anestesi Umum Dan Spinal Untuk Operasi Sesar Elektif Dan Faktor Terkait: Studi Deskriptif

Abstract

Selama operasi sesar elektif, pilihan metode anestesi sangat penting untuk hasil ibu dan janin. Namun, keputusan ahli anestesi tergantung pada keinginan pasien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan pilihan anestesi umum dan spinal pada wanita yang menjalani operasi sesar elektif dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pilihan mereka. Metode: Dalam studi deskriptif ini, ibu hamil yang memiliki kemampuan untuk menjalani anestesi spinal dan umum dirujuk ke rumah sakit umum dan swasta. Kuesioner mencatat data demografi pasien, pendidikan dan pekerjaan, riwayat anestesi, pilihan metode anestesi, dan alasan pemilihan. Hasil: Sebanyak 384 wanita dilibatkan dalam penelitian ini, di antaranya 60% memilih anestesi umum dan 40% memilih anestesi spinal. Di antara alasan tidak memilih anestesi spinal, yang paling banyak adalah takut cedera pada sumsum tulang belakang (64,3%) dan takut melihat dan mendengar selama operasi (53,3%), dan di antara alasan tidak memilih anestesi umum, yang paling banyak adalah takut tidak bangun (54,3%) dan keinginan untuk waspada pada saat bayi lahir (40,7%). Sebagian besar wanita dengan riwayat anestesi spinal memilih anestesi spinal (53%), dan 62% wanita tanpa riwayat anestesi spinal memilih anestesi umum. Faktor-faktor seperti usia, saran staf nonmedis, dan dipekerjakan secara signifikan berkorelasi dengan pilihan anestesi (P<0,005). Kesimpulan: Tingkat pemilihan anestesi umum lebih tinggi daripada anestesi spinal. Lebih banyak perhatian dan upaya diperlukan untuk mendidik pasien mengenai metode anestesi sebelum operasi.
