PENGARUH LATIHAN OTOT PERNAPASAN TERHADAP EKSPANSI DADA DAN PARU PADA PASIEN PPOK RSUD KOTA DEPOK TAHUN 2022

Background: Respiratory Distress of Newborn (RDN) usually show symptoms of tachypnea accompanied by grunting, chest retraction, nasal flaring, and cyanosis. RDN is a cause of stopping breathing and even death, so it can increase morbidity and mortality in newborns. Many risk factors for newborn respiratory problems, both baby, mother and childbirth.
Objective: To determine the risk factors for Respiratory Distress of Newborn in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of RSUD Kota Depok
Method: This research is an analytic survey using a cross sectional study design. The total sample of 103 baby's medical records were taken using purposive sampling technique. The results of this study were tested using the Chi square test with a significance level of α = 0.05.
Results: Data analysis found that the relationship between maternal age (p = 0.323), gestational age (p = 0.104), parity (p = 0.916), type of delivery (p = 0.559) , history of maternal disease (p = 0.794), history of ANC (p = 1,000), sex (p = 0.985) and birth weight (p = 0.060) with RDN events at the NICU at RSUD Kota Depok.
Conclusion: There was no relationship between maternal age, gestational age, parity, history of maternal disease, history of ANC, sex and birth weight with the incidence of RDN at the NICU at RSUD Kota Depok
